Dear Church Family,
This year, we can truly say that the Lord has carried us through every season — through joy, uncertainty, growth, and challenges. His grace has sustained us, and His mercies continue to be new every morning.
Now, as we focus on this second quarter of the year, we move forward with hope, faith, and renewed commitment. God is still working among us, even in the ordinary moments of life.
The Lent season was also a great blessing for our church family this year. We were encouraged to see more people gathering together during Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter celebrations. It was beautiful to witness hearts coming together in worship, reflection, and celebration of Christ’s love and resurrection. Moments like these remind us that God continues to renew His people and draw us closer to Him and to one another.
Iwould also like to thank God for the recent concert we shared together. Music touches people in different ways. For some, it was joyful and uplifting; for others, it may have felt unfamiliar or different. Yet through it all, we are reminded that God speaks to hearts in many ways. Moments like these invite us to grow, listen, and continue walking together in love and unity as a church family.
May is also a season of celebration as many students graduate and families gather to honor important milestones. Congratulations to all who are celebrating graduations and other special moments. We thank God for every achievement and pray that He continues to guide and strengthen each person for the journey ahead.
As we look toward June, we joyfully celebrate one year since the beginning of Chair Yoga and the Sewing Circle ministries. What a blessing it has been to see fellowship, healing, creativity, laughter, and friendship grow through these gatherings.
We give all glory to God for how far He has brought us. These ministries remind us that church is not only about worship on Sundays, but also about caring for one another, building relationships, and walking together through life.
My prayer for all of us in this season is that we may grow deeper in faith, stronger in love, and more committed to serving God and one another. Every person matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every prayer matters. The church becomes stronger when each of us chooses to participate, encourage, and remain connected to the body of Christ.
As we move through these summer months, I encourage everyone to continue checking the monthly church activities and events. There are many opportunities for fellowship, worship, learning, service, and connection. Whether through worship services, ministries, gatherings, or outreach, there is a place for everyone to belong and grow. Your presence and participation help strengthen our church family.
Let us continue to seek God together, support one another, and trust that the Lord who began a good work among us will continue to carry us forward.
May God bless you and your families abundantly in the months ahead.
With Prayers and Gratitude,
Makena Riungu
